The Prologue

To kick off this new section of the website, Angy and I just wanted to give you a little preview of what we see on a daily basis… our office and studios in Bushwick, Brooklyn. We are surrounded by painters, sculptors, graffiti artists, videographers, fashion designers, architects, woodworkers, product designers, ceramic artists and one snowboard shop. Not to mention the plethora of musicians scattered in between. These are our friends, our community and our collaborators.

We started Nalata Nalata as a way to give many of these artists and designers a voice, but its scope is growing in ways that we have expected and not expected at all. What will remain consistent are three things: 1) A belief in the transparency of design, 2) A commitment towards story telling and 3) Travelling to the ends of the earth to find products we believe are original, well crafted and that could enhance your lifestyle. We invite you to join us in this journey.
