Stem Flower Shop

Delgis and Rado are the sweet couple behind Stem, our favourite flower shop in Brooklyn. Located in Fort Greene down the block from our apartment, it has always been our go-to place to pick up a bouquet of flowers for a special occasion or just to add a bit of colour to the windowsill. It’s a small little shop, tucked away on South Oxford street between Lafayette Ave. and Fulton. They carry the most beautiful and exotic varieties with blooms that are fresh and intact. I usually select a few stems from their main table or ask the friendly owners to create a bouquet. You really can’t go wrong, and I always feel so happy walking out with a pretty brown paper parcel of the freshest flowers.  

When we received our shipment of specialty Tajika flower and garden scissors, we asked Stem if we could use their charming shop as the backdrop for our product photography photo shoot. They kindly opened their doors on a busy morning leading up to Mother’s Day and were generous enough with their time as we set up shop for the day. You can view all the photos from the shoot by clicking ‘Find Out More’ below the scissors here.
