YUKARI – An Exhibition of Japanese Homeware – Nov15-17

YUKARI_Poster

We are so honored to have the opportunity to host this wonderful event in collaboration with Oji & Design and Asahikawa Woodworking.

The exhibition is about the idea of a product seen as a form of connection, or Yukari (a word used in Japan since ancient times). It can be revealed through the relationships that exist between maker and designer, designer and user, and it can even connect the past and present and create links between generations: past, present and future.

Yukari will kick-start with an opening party on Nov 15th at 7:30PM. You’ll be able to meet Oji Masanori himself at this time, as he’ll be coming all the way from Japan for this special meet and greet. If you can’t make it on this night, the show will stay up on view through till Nov 17th. Come discover Yukari in your own sense through these beautiful Japanese handcrafts that will be on display. Everyone is welcome!
